Seger/Segar
The more consistent right hander offers a steep and fast wave which is good for turns and can barrel. There can also be a slightly more mellow left hand break.
Seger is a popular spot for locals, as it doesn’t require a boat to access.

Conditions
Best to go when the wind is light or offshore, as Seger is exposed. It works best on smaller days, as it easily picks up swell It starts to close out as it gets bigger. The waves break over a sharp reef with sea urchins, therefore It’s best to avoid surfing on a low tide.
Crowd Levels
Crowd levels are generally low compared to other breaks.
Do You Need Reef Boots
Booties are not required for any of the South Lombok Breaks. However, if you had them this is one of the places you might wear the, as the reef is sharp and has sea urchins
Getting There
The Seger reef is accessible from Seger beach, just East of Kuta (very close to Kuta beach), and does not require a boat. To get here, you can take a scooter ride past Novotel Lombok towards the Mandalika Princess Statue. Where the water starts, you will be able to pay to park, and then walk across a wooden bridge. From there, follow the road until you hit the beach.
From the beach, it’s a short paddle out to the break.
